Can I Transfer Guest Reviews From My Old Listing?

Learn how you can transfer your previous Vrbo listing’s guest reviews to your new Evolve listing.

We know how important rave reviews are to an owner’s vacation rental performance. That’s why we have processes in place to collect reviews from every vacation rental guest after their stay in your home — and will also help you transfer reviews you’d received prior to our partnership if and when listing sites allow it.

We are currently only able to transfer past guest reviews from Vrbo. As part of the transfer process, you can have these reviews appear for your new Evolve listing on both Vrbo and evolve.com — giving you a great head start with capturing bookers. 

Here’s how to initiate a Vrbo transfer and make sure those reviews are carried over and displayed on your new Evolve listing.  

Transferring Reviews From Vrbo
The transfer process typically occurs during your onboarding process, and is something your Onboarding Consultant can help you with. If you don’t initiate a transfer during onboarding and ultimately decide you want to, you can still submit a request in your Owner Account to do so at any time.

In either scenario, you’ll need to provide your previous Vrbo listing ID number and make sure the old listing is hidden.

A few more things to note:

  • The review transfer process typically takes between 1-2 weeks, and Evolve will contact you via email to let you know once it's complete
  • We cannot selectively transfer reviews, so we do not recommend this process if your average rating is below 4.5 stars
